6 Editors Over-published on Their Special Issues on JMR&T

Up to October 14th, 2024, 193 articles were published on 8 special issues on Journal of Materials Research & Technology (JMR&T), among them, 20 articles were coauthored by the guest editors. Although Elsevier has a policy that one editor can publish maximum ONE article on their special issues, unless they get approvals from the editor-in-chief, 6 editors with 4 of 8 special issues on JMR&T published more than one articles (excluded editorial articles) on their special issues. If a policy can not be well obeyed, we can hardly trust the publisher(s).
