False Ethics Approval Number on 10.1002/advs.202417672

The ethics approval number on the article [1] was found to be "Non Existent".

Authors of the article [1] claimed that "Protocols for investigations involving human tissues used in this project were approved by the Ethics Committee of Renji Hospital, School of Medicine, Shanghai Jiaotong University (050432-4-1805C)". However, when contact to the ethics committee at the Renji Hospital, the 5GH Team was told that there is no such approval number at their committee.

The approval numbers seem to be for a BioBank of tumor tissues at Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center, but not for any specific studies. In the meantime, there is no authors from Shanghai Cancer Center were listed on the article [1]. It remains unknown why this error happened.
